The BC Network of Child and Youth Advocacy Centres is thrilled to have received a recommendation again this year.

“The Committee also heard about the need to protect and support vulnerable populations. The BC Network of Child and Youth Advocacy Centres advocated for funding for child and youth advocacy centres, highlighting how these centres provide integrated services to respond to crimes against children and help families navigate complex court processes and seek justice for vulnerable children.” p.87

Recommendation #103. Provide stable, dedicated operational funding to child and youth advocacy centres. p.117

The Network appreciates the hard work of the Committee and their commitment to seeing children in BC, who experience abuse, receive the best possible response.
